Twittering with Celebrities
I’m sure we can all agree that the level of interest in celebrities has gotten out of hand. Mostly because we seem to no longer distinguish between someone who is famous for promoting themselves and someone who has talent and also happens to be famous.
Twittering allows just about anyone to update the world at large about what they are doing. Here are some Twitter-ing celebs that you may want to follow because they actually have something interesting to say-
- Tina Fey – she hasn’t posted in a while but expect the same sharp wit as with everything she does
- Lance Armstrong – he recently used his Twitter account to plea for the return of his stolen bike. Seriously, who steals a bike from Lance Armstrong?
- Al Gore – Now that he’s the go-to-environmental guy (and rightfully so!), Al Gore is much cooler now than as VP. Sorry, it’s true.
- Kevin Smith – he seems to be dipping his toe in slightly but he’s a guy who surely will have something hysterical and thought-provoking to say. Too bad there’s no more Smodcasts…
And of course you can now follow Now IT Works on Twitter!
