As the resident health nut around here, I was secretly pleased but also laughing when I saw this – the Jedi workout! “Master Flynn”, a Star Wars fanboy, was on the Today Show on Wednesday to introduce his new workout.

Based on a staged fight involving lightsabers, Flynn developed a workout although he says it wasn’t intended to lose weight, just to “appreciate the swordmanship. ” The fitness effects of the sword fighting include cardio benefits and strength training for the upper and lower body.
If you can’t afford or attend the 2 hour workout sessions, twice a week in New York, Flynn has a website where people can do the workouts with objects around the house; a broom could easily replace the glowing stick.
