Steve Jobs is Back to Work
After a mysterious 6-month medical leave that ended with an unconfirmed report of a liver transplant, Steve Jobs is back on the job at Apple although only working part time in the office. During his absence, Chief Operating Officer, Tim Cook handled the day-to-day tasks of running the company.
Before Jobs left in January, there was a buzz around the internet that something was medically wrong with him, which caused numerous debates about the public’s so-called “right to know”. But after much speculation, just last month, indications seemed to be that Jobs would return, as “the Woz” and others gave reassurance that his health was fine.
Instead of a grand entrance at Apple’s World Wide Development Conference, Jobs instead quietly returned to campus last week, which was confirmed by Steve Dowling, an Apple spokesperson.
